Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame To Open at the Maryland Science Center in Fall 2009

By Kids for Kids, “BKFK” and the Maryland Science Center yesterday announced a partnership to build the Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame, a permanent exhibition showcasing the outstanding creative achievements of American youth. The much anticipated new installation is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009 on the third floor of the Maryland Science Center and will include 1,800 square feet of exhibit space.

The “Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame” — will provide inspiration to motivate all youth to innovate and be creative. This groundbreaking exhibit will showcase award-winning youth inventors, both past and present, for generations to come. The target audience will be youth ages 9 — 18, as well as teachers, parents or guardians. The exhibit area will offer educational programs and a local venue where students can meet to discuss ideas and inventions as well as create and design new inventions. There will also be a designated place for educators, parents and others to convene to act as mentors and advisers to creative or entrepreneurially inclined young people.
