@GardenVariety2 Great question, Most dried Spices are raw, but look out for those that are blended with more than one ingredient, I’ve seen lots of those contain sugar added into the blend.
@GardenVariety2 I did post a little late, ok a lot late ; ) But it’s ok, because even if you start it a day late you just continue a day more at the end of the week, the idea is to do it for 7 days straight. So Monday-Monday, Tues-Tues, and so on. The concept of colors is to really help focus when shopping, all the varieties in that color group. My daughter loved hunting for what we could find. So it teaches people to look outside the box of just eating the same thing! Your smoothie is a V6
@theknuts6 This is amazing the blend of sweet (honey) and tart (grapefruit)goes so good together, It’s my favorite dressing! Let me know what you think?
So I think I may be a day behind in this challange but I made a smoothie today with 4 frozen roma tomatos, handful of frozen green pepper chopped, water/ice, black pepper, onion and garlic powder and chilli pepper flakes. It was tastey. Are spices considered raw? I am for now just incorporating raw foods/meals/days into my diet and my DH’s. I was intreigued by the challange and the color theme! What fun!!
looks good! I will be making this!
