I first purchased this tea as I felt like I needed to do a cleanse but wanted to do it naturally. Like another reviewer when I first tasted this tea I was a bit put off even though I love almonds, it just really didn’t taste like tea to me. Anyway, on days when I felt particularly sluggish I would have a cup or two of this tea and immediately noticed a difference in my overall pep. Bottom line, I went to my local Whole Foods today to buy another canister of this tea and they were out, so here I am buying it on amazon. It’s become a tea I can’t live without.

This tea has great flavor and I loved it. However, I was unaware that I had a milk thistle allergy until after I was drinking it. If you have abdominal pain after drinking this tea, you should probably avoid any products containing milk thistle, including this tea. Otherwise, enjoy!

I first want to say that Republic of tea products are almost always amazing. This one was very disappointing though. I purchased it with high hopes of cleansing my body and enjoying the flavor. While I’m sure it does its job, the almond flavor, which is listed as the last ingredient, is very overwhelming. If you like strong almond, then this tea is for you, but I felt like I was sipping on pure almond extract. Don’t let this review scare you off from other flavors, this tea company is amazing. I just wish I didn’t spend $9 on tea I cannot drink.
